Join us this Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1pm as the City of McKinney, McKinney City Council, and Mayor Brian Loughmiller honor veterans with a ceremony at the future site of the Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney. The site is located at 6053 Weiskopf Ave., south of Collin McKinney Pkwy and the TPC Golf Course Clubhouse in Craig Ranch. The ceremony will include a performance by the McKinney North High School Choir, a fly-over, and guest speakers such as US Senator John Cornyn, Congressmen Sam Johnson and Ralph Hall, and Collin County Judge Keith Self. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and McKinney Armed Services Memorial Board member Ronnie D. Foster, whose vision and drive has led the way for the development of the park, will also address the audience. Please come on out and show your support!

The McKinney Armed Services Memorial Board has come close in raising the money needed to construct the park but still needs help. To donate, consider buying a paving stone that will become part of the Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney to memorialize a relative, a friend, or simply express your support for our country and all service men and women.
